About Your Sailing Experience
Charter a skippered yacht for a 2 hour sailing experience for up to four people, get involved and take control of the yacht or just sit back and enjoy the stunning scenery unfold around you.
The experience:
Your sailing experience is tailor made for you to suit experienced sailors and those new to the sport. Your preferences will be discussed with your skipper before you set sail so that you get the most out of the experience. Sailing is a great way to see the lakes from a different perspective and take in the magnificent scenery and points of interest.
The boat:
23 foot Jeanneau yacht which can comfortably accommodate groups of up to four guests. There is plenty of space to relax above and below deck as well as storage for bags, fresh water and toilet access.
Your skipper:
Ian Doig is an official pleasure boat licence holder on Lake Windermere and enjoys sharing his passion for sailing with visitors to the Lake District. Ian is very friendly with a great sense of humour, inspiring confidence and creating a relaxed sailing experience.
Meeting Point:
We will meet at Storrs Hall which is a beautiful 4 star Hotel that sits on the shores of Lake Windermere, in the heart of the Lake District.
