Boat Hire

Hire your own sailboat for the day on Lake Windermere and take charge of your sailing experience. Cruise around the lake at your own pace, drop anchor at a quiet bay or moor up at a pub for lunch.

Boat hire is perfect if you are an experienced sailor and are comfortable handling a sailing boat on your own.

Keel boat hire requires the ability to sail to the standard of the RYA National Sailing Scheme Level 2 award. An experienced skipper will be on hand at the start of your experience to make sure you are set up to sail for the day.

If you feel you would be more comfortable with a skipper onboard, we also offer a skippered yacht charter.

Beneteau First 235
A 23 foot sailboat that can comfortably accommodate groups of up to five passengers. There is plenty of space to relax above and below deck as well as storage for bags, fresh water and toilet access.

Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 32i
A 32 foot sailboat offering a spacious cockpit, featuring two cabins and up to six births, perfect for both beginners and more experienced sailors.
